4 февраля Red Hot Chili Peppers возвращаются с новым синглом «Black Summer». Вместе с выходом сингла группа анонсирует новый альбом «Unlimited Love» (дата выхода – 1 апреля). Также группа официально объявила о возвращении в состав легендарного гитариста Джона Фрушанте. Исполнительным продюсером пластинки выступил Рик Рубин, с которым Red Hot Chili Peppers начали сотрудничать в начале 1990-х годов. С тех пор, Рик Рубин продюсировал все студийные альбомы группы, за исключением «The Getaway» (2016). Предыдущая пластинка Red Hot Chili Peppers «The Getaway» вышла в 2016 году. В сентябре 2021 года альбом получил «золотую» сертификацию. В прошлом году стало известно, что группа практически закончила работу над новым альбом, а также в октябре 2021 года музыканты анонсировали масштабное мировое турне «2022 Global Stadium Tour», в который коллектив отправится летом 2022 года. Red Hot Chili Peppers – одна из самых популярных рок-групп на планете. Коллектив был основан в 1983 году в Лос-Анджелесе, штат Калифорния. RHCP записывают музыку в жанрах альтернативный рок, фанк, панк-рок, психоделический рок и др. На сегодняшний день группа имеет более 80 млн проданных копий альбомов по всему миру. Также на счету коллектива тринадцать хитов, занимавших первую строчку чарта Billboard. Red Hot Chili Peppers шесть раз становились обладателями престижной музыкальной премии «Грэмми». За свою почти сорокалетнюю историю группа выпустила одиннадцать студийных альбомов, шесть из которых достигли «платинового» статуса: «Mother’s Milk» (1989), семь раз «платиновый» «Blood Sugar Sex Magik» (1991), дважды «платиновый» «One Hot Minute» (1995), семь раз «платиновый» «Californication» (1999), дважды «платиновый» «By the Way» (2002) и четырежды «платиновый» «Stadium Arcadium» (2006). Red Hot Chili Peppers трижды приезжали с концертами в Россию. Первый раз группа выступила на Красной площади в Москве в 1999 году на дне рождения телеканала «MTV Russia». Затем, спустя 13 лет, в 2012 году, RHCP посетили Москву и Санкт-Петербург в рамках тура в поддержку альбома «I’m With You».
