Shake It Up - лимитированное, ремастированное переиздание студийного альбома американского коллектива The Cars, первоначально выпущенного в 1981 году. Релиз представлен на зеленом виниле. The Cars - американская рок-группа новой волны, была основана в 1976 году в Бостоне Риком Окэсиком (вокал и ритм-гитара), Бенджамином Орром (вокал и бас-гитара), Эллиотом Эстоном (соло-гитара), Грэгом Хоуком (синтезатор) и Дэвидом Робинсоном (ударные). Через год The Cars заключили контракт с лейблом Elektra Records. Музыкальный критик The York Times и Rolling Stone, Роберт Палмер, охарактеризовал музыку группы как удачную смесь панка, арт-рока, рокабилли и пауэр-попа. В 1988 году группа распалась. В 2005 Эстон и Хоук вместе с Тоддом Рандгреном организовали The Cars, исполняющих песни старой группы и Рандгрена. В 2011 все музыканты The Cars, кроме Бенджамина Орра (он умер в 2000 году), воссоединились вновь и весной состоялся релиз абсолютно нового студийного альбома - Move like this, в поддержку которого группа отправилась в небольшое турне по Америке.
